Pakistan to become industrial hub after completion of CPEC: Ahsan

Islamabad, March 17, 2018 (PPI-OT): Minister for Planning and Development Ahsan Iqbal says China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) is a game changer, not only for Pakistan but for the entire region. In an interview with PTV, he said Pakistan will become an industrial hub of South Asia after completion of this project. Ahsan Iqbal said CPEC will bring mega improvement in various sectors including energy, industrial cooperation, infrastructure development besides creating millions of job opportunities for the countrymen.

To a question, the minister said the government with its effective policies, reduced terrorist acts, overcome energy shortage and improved law and order situation in the country. He said some eleven thousand five hundred megawatt electricity was added to the national grid during the last four years due to which the chronic issue of load shedding has been eliminated from the country.
