Pakistan to Host Major Minerals Investment Forum in 2025

Islamabad: Pakistan is set to host the Pakistan Minerals Investment Forum 2025 (PMIF25) on April 8-9 at the Jinnah Convention Centre in Islamabad, aiming to attract global stakeholders to explore the country’s mineral potential. The event is organized by the Oil and Gas Development Company Limited (OGDCL) in collaboration with strategic partners, under the auspices of the Special Investment Facilitation Council (SIFC) and the Ministry of Energy (Petroleum Division).

According to a statement by Oil and Gas Development Company Limited, PMIF25 will serve as a platform for key players in the mineral sector to explore investment opportunities. Key partners include Barrick, PPL, GHPL, PMPL, FWO, Mari Energies, and Reko Diq Mining Company (RDMC).

A significant feature of the forum will be the unveiling of the National Minerals Harmonisation Framework 2025 by the federal government. The framework aims to attract investment into the country’s mineral sector, which is seen as a vital area for economic growth.

The gathering will bring together a diverse group of participants, including government representatives, investors, industry leaders, policymakers, diplomats, financial institutions, and mining experts. The forum will provide a space for dialogue and exploration of opportunities in Pakistan’s expanding mining sector.
