Pakistan to Observe Palestine Solidarity Day Tomorrow

Islamabad: Pakistan will observe a nationwide Day of Solidarity tomorrow to express support for Palestinians amid ongoing conflicts with Israel. The observance follows a decision by Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, who will also convene an All Parties Conference to discuss the situation.

According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Prime Minister Sharif decided to designate the day during discussions with Pakistan People’s Party Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari and Jamaat-e-Islami Ameer Hafiz Naeem ur Rehman. The conference hosted by Sharif aims to amplify the voices against the oppression faced by unarmed Palestinians in Gaza and to show support for their plight.
