Pakistan to Showcase Textile Innovations at Heimtextil Frankfurt 2026

KARACHI: The Trade Development Authority of Pakistan (TDAP) is set to represent the country at Heimtextil Frankfurt 2026, the world’s largest international trade fair for home and contract textiles. Scheduled from January 13-16, the event in Frankfurt, Germany, will feature a wide array of home textiles and products for interior design, offering a crucial platform for the latest trends and innovations within the global textile industry.

Heimtextil 2026 will present an extensive range of textiles and carpets, covering sectors from bedrooms and bathrooms to living spaces and flooring. The inclusion of Flooring and Equipment broadens the fair’s reach, encompassing both textile and non-textile interior designs. The event will feature various products, including fitted and handmade carpets, rugs, fibres, yarns, and related machinery and accessories.

TDAP will participate with a dedicated Pakistan pavilion, building on the country’s strong position in the global textile market. In the 2025 edition, 275 Pakistani exhibitors showcased their products, with 64 participating under the TDAP pavilion. The fair is expected to provide valuable exposure to European markets and beyond, helping Pakistani exporters connect with international buyers and understand global trends.

The 2025 event attracted 3,000 exhibitors and 50,000 trade visitors worldwide. The upcoming fair in 2026 anticipates the return of major exhibitors, alongside several promising newcomers.

For exhibitors under the TDAP pavilion, a 12-square-meter stand is offered at PKR 1,640,000 for home textiles and PKR 650,000 for carpets. The deadline to apply through TDAP is July 18, 2025.
