Pakistan Tobacco Company Announces a Significant Decline in Annual Distribution

Karachi: Pakistan Tobacco Co. (PAKT) traded at Rs. 903.00 with a daily weighted average close to Rs. 900.33. The company experienced a marked decrease in its annual distribution, announcing 100%(I) for 2023, a substantial drop from the previous year’s 200% and 800% in 2021. With a significant paid-up capital of Rs. 2,554.94 million, the shares have a par value of Rs. 10 and a market lot size of 50. For the year, the stock recorded a high of Rs. 566.2 and had a turnover of 410,500 shares. Pakistan Tobacco Co. has been listed on the PSE since 1956, and the last book closure was on November 7.
