Pakistan Values Its Ties With UK: Naqvi

Islamabad: Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi has said the Pakistani community in the United Kingdom is playing a significant role in the development of both countries. He was talking to British Member of Parliament Lord Shaffaq Mohammed, who called on him in Islamabad on Monday. During the meeting, both sides discussed Pakistan-UK relations and issues of mutual interest.

According to Radio Pakistan, the Interior Minister said Pakistan holds its long-standing relations with the United Kingdom in high esteem. He noted that the community serves as an important bridge between Pakistan and the United Kingdom. The Interior Minister further said any criminal activity by Pakistanis abroad is condemnable, and Pakistan is committed to taking back those individuals, except those who have already relinquished their Pakistani citizenship.

On the occasion, Lord Shaffaq Mohammed assured that he would continue to play an active role in further strengthening the ties between the two countries.
