PMD Advises Fishermen Amid Cyclone

Pakistan meteorological department: Fishermen in coastal areas of Sindh and Balochistan have been advised to remain extremely cautious today as the powerful tropical cyclone Shakti approaches coastal areas.

According to Radio Pakistan, all fishermen have been urged to avoid venturing into deep sea waters due to the high risk of severe weather conditions. Sea conditions are expected to remain high over the northwest and west-central Arabian Sea during the next 36 hours, with conditions becoming very high until tomorrow.

The Cyclone Warning Center in Karachi is closely monitoring the system and will issue updates as necessary. Authorities and residents in coastal regions have been urged to stay alert and follow the advisory to ensure safety.
