Pakistan Voices Concern Over Rising Tensions in Region

Islamabad: Pakistan has expressed its deep concern at the escalation in tensions in the region, saying a renewed conflict is in no one’s interest. A statement issued by the Spokesperson of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Tahir Andrabi, in Islamabad emphasized the importance of restraint and urged all parties involved to refrain from actions that could further destabilize regional peace and stability.

According to Radio Pakistan, the statement highlighted the necessity of continued engagement, dialogue, and diplomacy to achieve the goal of peace in the region. Pakistan has also called on all sides to honor their commitments under the Islamabad Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), which serves as a critical foundation for understanding, mutual respect, and shared prosperity for the region and beyond.
