Islamabad: President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif have expressed deep grief and sorrow over the tragic loss of lives and property caused by the devastating landslides and heavy rains in China. In their separate posts on X handle, they extended heartfelt condolences to President Xi Jinping, the Government, and the people of China, especially the bereaved families.
According to Radio Pakistan, both leaders conveyed Pakistan’s solidarity with the Chinese people during this challenging time. They also offered prayers for the swift recovery of those injured in the natural disaster.
