Caretaker Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting Murtaza Solangi says Pakistan is a peace-loving country, and will continue to play its role for promotion of peace and prosperity in the region.
Talking to Maldives Minister for Islamic Affairs Dr. Muhammad Shaheem Ali Saeed on Saturday, he said Pakistan and Maldives have strong ties based on religion and common interests.
The two leaders held a detailed discussion on the promotion of the unity among Muslim Ummah, and the solution of common challenges being faced by them.
The Information Minister also congratulated and expressed his best wishes to Dr. Muhammad Shaheem Ali Saeed on assuming his new responsibilities.
Speaking on the occasion, Maldives Minister for Islamic Affairs said his country wants to increase cooperation with Pakistan in various fields.
