Pakistani Ambassador Encourages Chinese Investment in Offshore Wind Energy

Fuzhou: Pakistan’s Ambassador to China, Khalil Hashmi, has urged Chinese companies to consider investing in Pakistan’s burgeoning offshore wind energy sector, highlighting the country’s strategic advantage due to its extensive coastline.

According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Hashmi made these remarks during a seminar on “High-Quality Development of Offshore Wind Power Supply Chain” held in Fuzhou. He emphasized the potential for enhancing bilateral cooperation between the two nations through technology exchanges, infrastructure development, and regulatory support.

The ambassador praised China’s rapid advancements in the offshore wind industry and invited Chinese investors to explore opportunities in Pakistan’s offshore wind sector, aiming to strengthen economic ties and support sustainable energy development in the region.
