Pakistani Ambassador Visits Bolu to Show Solidarity After Devastating Fire

Ankara: In the aftermath of a fire at a hotel in the Kartalkaya ski resort in Bolu, the Pakistani Ambassador to Turkiye, Dr. Yousaf Junaid, visited the area to express condolences and solidarity with the Turkish people. Representing Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and the Pakistani nation, Ambassador Junaid extended condolences and offered prayers for those who lost their lives in the incident.

According to a statement by Press Information Department, Ambassador Junaid emphasized the historical bond between Pakistan and Turkiye, highlighting their mutual support in times of crisis. “Our hearts beat together, and we share joy and pain,” he remarked, conveying the grief felt by the Pakistani nation over the tragedy.

During his visit, Ambassador Junaid attended a briefing at the AFAD Coordination Centre, where he was informed about the incident and response efforts by AFAD President and Governor Okay Memis. Governor Memis expressed gratitude to the ambassador and the Pakistani nation for their support during this difficult time.
