Beijing: Minister for Planning and Development, Ahsan Iqbal, has announced that the friendship between Pakistan and China is progressing from road-building initiatives to space exploration. This advancement comes as both nations enhance their cooperation in space technology as part of the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC).
According to Radio Pakistan, during his visit to Hunan Satellite Space Technology companies in Hunan province, Ahsan Iqbal emphasized that Pakistani engineers are working alongside their Chinese counterparts in the development of satellites. The collaboration in space sciences under CPEC Phase two signifies the deepening partnership between the two countries.
Additionally, Ahsan Iqbal visited the CRRC Zhuzhou Locomotive Company Limited, where he extended an invitation to the company to participate in Pakistan’s ML-1 railway modernization project. He remarked that the collaborative efforts between Pakistan and China aim to transform the future of modern railways, which is expected to enhance connectivity, cut costs, and invigorate Pakistan’s economic growth.
During his visit to Zhuzhou Times New Material Technology Company, Ahsan Iqbal stated that Pakistan is keen on leveraging emerging technologies under CPEC Phase two, reflecting the country’s commitment to technological advancement and economic development.
