Abu Dhabi: The Embassy of Pakistan in Abu Dhabi held an event on its premises to observe Kashmir Solidarity Day 2025, drawing attendance from Pakistani and Kashmiri community members residing in the United Arab Emirates. Ambassador Faisal Niaz Tirmizi addressed the gathering, highlighting the ongoing efforts of the people in Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK) for self-determination.
According to a statement by Press Information Department, Ambassador Tirmizi condemned India’s actions in IIOJK, asserting that such measures would not dissuade the Kashmiri people from pursuing their rights as outlined in United Nations Security Council resolutions. He emphasized Pakistan’s commitment to raising awareness of the Jammu and Kashmir issue at global platforms, including the United Nations and the Human Rights Council.
The event also featured speeches from Kashmiri community representatives who expressed concerns over the situation in IIOJK and reiterated their dedication to the struggle for self-determination. A documentary was screened to further highlight the ongoing issues faced by Kashmiris.
