Pakistani Prime Minister and UAE President Discuss Enhancing Bilateral Ties

UAE: Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif, accompanied by Chief of Army Staff General Syed Asim Munir, engaged in discussions with UAE President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan during a meeting in Abu Dhabi. The visit, part of the Prime Minister’s participation in the World Governments Summit 2025, focused on strengthening cooperation between Pakistan and the UAE.

According to a statement by Press Information Department, the leaders met at Qasr Al Shati to explore opportunities for collaboration in economic, trade, and development sectors. The talks emphasized aligning both nations’ visions for sustainable growth and prosperity. The meeting also addressed the role of the World Governments Summit in identifying global governance trends and strategies to improve government readiness for global changes.

Discussions included regional and international issues, particularly developments in the Middle East. Both sides called for increased global efforts towards achieving peace in Palestine through a two-state solution, highlighting the importance of regional security and stability.
