Pakistani Traders should focus on standardize quality products to satisfy consumers: Dr. Ishrat-Ul-Ibad Khan

Karachi, January 12, 2016 (PPI-OT): There are fast changes in technology and trade in today’s modern world, hence we have to work hard to concentrate on quality control which is more important, the manufacturers need recognition for their Products and Services in order to maintain quality standard which will help them standout and compete not only in Pakistan but in the international market as well. This will also be leap forward towards consumer empowerment.” This was stated by Governor Sindh, Dr. Ishrat-Ul-Ibad Khan in the Award Distribution Ceremony of 5th “Quality Standard Award 2015” organized by The Consumers Eye Pakistan (TCEP). Sindh Governor’s message was read in the event. Governor Sindh in his message lauded the Services of Pakistan Standards and Quality Control Authority and The Consumers Eye Pakistan for the promotion of Standards and Quality in Pakistan. He further stated that “Quality Standard Award is a positive initiative as these Awards have been given to only those organizations/ individuals, who maintain outstanding capability to manage their products, services, customer relationship, Leadership and Customer Satisfaction.

I am confident that the business community of Pakistan will become more aware about the importance of Quality Standard and consumer rights and will convert their products as well of one of the leading products/ brands. Governor Sindh admires the efforts of the organizers and congratulated to the winner Awardees. Mr. Umar Ghauri, C.E.O Quality Standard Award and Chairman TCEP in his welcome address, thanks honorable Guests and congratulated Award winners of 2015. He said that Quality Standard Award is Tribute to the Businesses that Cares quality and maintain Standard at highest level in Pakistan. FPCCI’s Mr Waseem Vohra as Chief Guest appreciated organizers and extends FPCCI’s full support to the management of Quality Standard Award; he appreciated Chairman TCEP, Mr Umar Ghauri for his excellent Services towards the promotion of Quality Standards in Pakistan.

He congratulated winners Awardees for their unrelenting struggle making their Products and Services an outstanding success for their Customers. Engr M A Jabbar BOD member Pakistan Standards and Quality Control Authority (PSQCA) highlighted the importance of Standards and working of PSQCA.

Congratulating winner Awardees, he shows confidence in business community that they will be more conscious about the Quality Standards for the betterment of our economy. Deputy Commissioner Malir Deedar Hussain Baloch On behalf of Commissioner Karachi appreciated the activity of Quality Standard Award and assured full support.
