Pakistan’s Ambassador Congratulates US on 250th Independence Anniversary

Washington: Pakistan’s Ambassador to the US, Rizwan Saeed Sheikh, has extended heartfelt felicitations to the American people on the historic occasion of the 250th anniversary of the independence of the US. In his message, he noted that the US history is defined by steadfastness, innovation, and determination in the pursuit of freedom and democracy. He said Pakistan and the United States share the common values of freedom and democracy, adding that Pakistan itself came into being on the basis of the same ideals.

According to Radio Pakistan, the Ambassador discussed the enduring bilateral relations between Pakistan and the US, noting that these relations have successfully withstood numerous tests over the past eight decades. He emphasized that the Pakistan-U.S. partnership has consistently proven to be productive not only bilaterally but also at the global level. Given the immense opportunities ahead, he expressed optimism about the future of the Pakistan-U.S. partnership, describing it as bright and promising.

Rizwan Saeed Sheikh also highlighted the recent increase in high-level engagements between the leadership of both countries. He pointed out that the convergence on a range of important issues is highly encouraging for a long-term partnership between the two nations.

He said there is a need to expand investment and trade driven cooperation in key sectors such as minerals, energy, information technology, and agriculture for promotion of durable and mutually beneficially partnership.
