Pakistan’s Defence Capability Evolved Through Decades of National Effort: Masood

Islamabad: Former Ambassador of Pakistan to the United States, China, and the United Nations, and former President of Azad Jammu and Kashmir, Sardar Masood Khan, emphasized that Pakistan’s security, stability, and future prosperity hinge not only on its strategic capabilities but also on national cohesion, technological innovation, economic resilience, and investment in education and human development.

According to Radio Pakistan, while addressing a gathering at the Nazarya-i-Pakistan Council in Islamabad, Sardar Masood Khan highlighted that Pakistan’s defence capability has been shaped by decades of national effort, scientific achievement, and strategic foresight. He underscored the importance of adapting to changing regional security dynamics, which include evolving military doctrines and emerging technologies, to maintain a credible deterrence posture.

Sardar Masood Khan further noted that Pakistan has consistently demonstrated the capability to protect its sovereignty while exercising restraint and responsibility in national security matters. This balanced approach underlines the nation’s commitment to safeguarding its interests while contributing to regional stability.
