New York:Pakistan is playing a significant global role in promoting digital finance, according to Bilal Bin Saqib, Minister of State and Chairman of the Pakistan Virtual Assets Regulatory Authority.
According to Radio Pakistan, Bilal Bin Saqib made these remarks while speaking at a side event on social business, youth, and technology during the 81st session of the United Nations General Assembly in New York.
He emphasized the importance of the Global South becoming an integral part of decision-making in the technology sector, advocating for a shift from being merely consumers to active participants in the industry.
