Islamabad:North Arabian Sea: Pakistan Navy’s newly inducted submarine, PNS/M HANGOR, has successfully executed its first live weapon firing.
According to Radio Pakistan, the submarine accurately engaged a designated long-range target using an anti-ship cruise missile, marking a significant achievement.
Chief of the Naval Staff, Admiral Naveed Ashraf, was present to witness the firing. He commended the submarine’s combat capabilities and highlighted the strategic importance of strengthening subsurface capabilities for maintaining credible maritime deterrence.
This milestone demonstrates Pakistan Navy’s dedication to maintaining a modern and combat-ready force, essential for safeguarding national maritime boundaries and ensuring regional peace.
