Pakistan’s Investment Climate Draws Telecom Interest

DUBAI: Pakistan’s Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister, Ishaq Dar, emphasized the country’s investment-friendly policies during a recent meeting in Dubai, inviting further investments from the telecommunications company, ‘e and’.

According to a statement by Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Khalifa Al Shamsi, the Chief Executive Officer of e and Life and e and International (Etisalat), met with Dar to discuss the potential for increased investment in Pakistan’s telecom sector.

In the meeting, Al Shamsi acknowledged Pakistan’s efforts to create a business-friendly environment and recognized the nation’s significance as an expanding market within the region.
