Islamabad: The chairperson of the Pakistan Red Crescent Society (PRCS), Ms. Farzana Naek, met with Ms. Romina Khurshid Alam, Prime Minister’s Coordinator on Climate Change, to discuss mutual interests in climate change mitigation and forest conservation. Both leaders emphasized the importance of collaborative efforts to enhance the country’s forest cover as a primary strategy against climate impacts.
According to a statement by Press Information Department, the meeting underscored the urgency of climate action and the need for joint initiatives to address environmental challenges in Pakistan.
