Partly Cloudy Weather with Rain and Snowfall Expected in Northern Pakistan

Islamabad: Mainly partly cloudy weather with rain-wind, thunderstorm, and snowfall over hills is expected in North and Northwest Balochistan, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Gilgit-Baltistan, Kashmir, and Upper and Central Punjab during the next twelve hours. Cold and dry weather is likely in other parts of the country.

According to Radio Pakistan, the temperatures recorded in major cities this morning were as follows: Islamabad at eight degrees centigrade, Lahore at thirteen, Karachi at twenty, Peshawar at eleven, Quetta at nine, Gilgit and Murree at five, and Muzaffarabad at six degrees centigrade.

Additionally, the weather forecast for Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir indicates cold and partly cloudy weather in Srinagar, Pulwama, Anantnag, Shopian, and Baramulla, while dry conditions are expected in Jammu and very cold and dry weather in Leh. The temperatures recorded this morning in these areas were: Srinagar, Pulwama, and Baramulla at two degrees centigrade, Leh at minus-nine, Anantnag and Shopian at one degree centigrade, and Jammu at nine degrees centigrade.
