PDMA Issues Severe Heatwave Alert During Eid Days Across Sindh

Karachi: The Provincial Disaster Management Authority (PDMA) Sindh has issued a severe heatwave alert for the upcoming Eid days across the province.

According to Radio Pakistan, PDMA Sindh Director General Slaman Shah announced in a statement that the temperature in several districts is expected to rise significantly, reaching between 47 and 50 degrees Celsius from the 25th to the 31st of this month.

The districts anticipated to experience this extreme heat include Larkana, Sanghar, Shikarpur, Qambar-Shahdadkot, Jacobabad, Dadu, Shaheed Benazirabad, Badin, Sujawal, Thatta, Hyderabad, Mirpurkhas, Jamshoro, and Karachi. Residents in these areas are advised to take necessary precautions to safeguard against the potentially hazardous weather conditions.
