Peshawar: The Punjab Disaster Management Authority has issued a warning about an extremely high flood expected in the Chenab, Ravi, and Sutlej rivers tomorrow and Friday.
According to Radio Pakistan, the spokesperson of the PDMA Punjab stated that heavy rains in the upper catchment areas are causing an unusual rise in water levels. The situation demands immediate attention and preparedness to mitigate the potential impact.
Meanwhile, Relief Commissioner Punjab Nabeel Javed has instructed all Commissioners, Deputy Commissioners, and relevant departments to maintain a state of high alert to ensure timely response to the anticipated flooding.
