Planning Minister Calls for Boosting Pakistan’s Exports

Islamabad: Planning Minister Ahsan Iqbal has termed increasing exports essential for Pakistan’s economic stability, self-reliance, and sustainable development. He said this during a policy dialogue hosted by the Planning Commission in Islamabad today.

According to Radio Pakistan, the dialogue deliberated on measures to enhance Pakistan’s automotive exports and contribute to the sixty-three billion dollar export target under URAAN Pakistan. The Minister urged the private sector to take the lead in driving Pakistan’s export agenda and stressed the need to play a more proactive role in expanding Pakistan’s presence in global markets.

Calling for stronger government-private sector collaboration, Ahsan Iqbal said both sides must work together to identify new export opportunities, remove bottlenecks, and establish clear priorities for export-oriented growth.
