Planning Minister Calls for education reforms to enhance global competitiveness

Minister for Planning and Development Ahsan Iqbal has emphasized the need for reforms in the education sector to compete with the world.

Chairing a meeting in Islamabad today, he stated that the Ministry of Education has been directed to organize a National Curriculum Summit, inviting experts from both the public and private sectors to provide their input on reforming the curriculum based on the best global practices.

The Minister also stressed the importance of teacher training and reforms in the examination system to bring about improvement in the education sector.
