Islamabad, May 19, 2023 (PPI-OT): Minister for Planning and Development Ahsan Iqbal has called for enhanced access of women to education. and Addressing a ceremony in Islamabad on Thursday, he said difficulties in access to educational institutes is a major impediment to the progress of women, especially in far flung areas of the country. The Minister said the government is planning to launch a bus services for female students of rural areas to create ease of travelling for them.
He also underscored the need to create an enabling environment for women at workplace and provide them better facilities including daycares for their children to encourage more of them into national mainstream.
