Caretaker Prime Minister Anwaar-ul-Haq Kakar has directed authorities concerned to expedite the process of shifting of tube-wells to solar energy in Balochistan.
He was talking to a fifteen-member delegation of Zameendar Action Committee of Balochistan led by Kazim Achakzai in Islamabad on Wednesday.
During the meeting, the Prime Minister was briefed about the issues including electricity bills of tube wells in Balochistan in general and agricultural sector in particular.
Anwaar-ul-Haq Kakar directed Secretary Energy and Chief Secretary Balochistan to meet the committee to address issues of farmers.
