PM Calls for Highest-Level of Training for Police Officers

Islamabad: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has emphasized the need for the highest level of training for police officers to enable them to efficiently discharge their duties. Addressing trainee police officers at the National Police Academy, he advocated for a training syllabus that prioritizes the protection of citizens’ lives, property, and the provision of justice to the common man.

According to Radio Pakistan, the Prime Minister announced plans for the upgradation of the National Police Academy. This development will span over twenty-five acres and will include an elite training school and a firing range, aimed at enhancing the training facilities for police officers.

Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi, who was also present at the occasion, highlighted that the National Police Academy will introduce advanced courses, including those related to cybersecurity. This initiative is part of a broader effort to equip police officers with the skills necessary to address modern challenges.
