PM Calls for Maintaining Peace Through Dialogue, Diplomacy

Islamabad: Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif has emphasized maintaining peace and stability through dialogue and diplomacy. He was speaking with Saudi Ambassador Nawaf bin Saeed Ahmed Al-Maliki during a meeting in Islamabad today.

According to Radio Pakistan, the Prime Minister expressed satisfaction over the strong bilateral relations between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia. He reiterated Pakistan’s resolve to further deepen the long-standing brotherly relations between the two countries and thanked Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman for his support to Pakistan, which has brought the two countries closer together.

Shehbaz Sharif highlighted his meetings with the Crown Prince throughout the year, noting their significance in elevating the Pak-Saudi bilateral relations to new heights. He appreciated Saudi Arabia’s continued support to Pakistan during times of need and its constructive role in promoting regional peace and stability.

The Saudi Ambassador conveyed a congratulatory message to the Prime Minister on behalf of King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman. He reiterated Saudi Arabia’s desire to enhance cooperation with Pakistan in all areas of mutual interest.
