PM emphasizes promotion of religious harmony in country

Caretaker Prime Minister Anwaar-ul-Haq Kakar has underlined the need to activate the Council of Islamic Ideology to promote religious harmony in the length and breadth of the country.

He was talking to CII Chairan Qibla Ayaz, who called on him in Islamabad today.

The Chairman lauded the Prime Minister for effectively representing Pakistan at the UN General Assembly. He also apprised the Prime Minister about the prevailing situation of religious harmony in the country.

Qibla Ayaz invited the Prime Minister to attend the General Council meeting of the CII.
