PM Hails Jhal Magsi Gas Field as Vital Economic Step

Islamabad: Minister for Science and Technology Khalid Hussain Magsi called on Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif in Islamabad today and invited him to inaugurate the Jhal Magsi Gas Field. The Prime Minister accepted the invitation.

According to Radio Pakistan, Khalid Hussain Magsi briefed the Prime Minister that integrating the Jhal Magsi Gas Field into the national gas supply will reduce reliance on imported gas and result in annual savings of 298 million dollars.

Speaking on the occasion, Shehbaz Sharif emphasized that the natural resources available in Pakistan can significantly contribute to addressing the country’s economic challenges. He praised the initiative for conserving foreign exchange reserves by decreasing the dependency on imported gas.

The Prime Minister termed the inclusion of Jhal Magsi Gas Field in the national gas supply as a crucial step towards economic stability.
