PM Offers Full Federal Govt’s Support to Sindh Amid Floods

Karachi: Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif telephoned Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah today to discuss the situation following heavy rains and urban flooding in southern Sindh, particularly in Karachi. He expressed the federal government’s readiness to provide full assistance to the Sindh government in managing the emergency.

According to Radio Pakistan, the Prime Minister instructed the Chairman of the National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) to maintain constant communication with the Sindh government and offer full cooperation in meeting their needs during this crisis. Additionally, the Prime Minister directed the NDMA Chairman to be fully prepared and to provide public awareness regarding the anticipated rainfall in southern Sindh districts over the coming days.

Shehbaz Sharif reiterated the federal government’s commitment to supporting the Sindh government in handling the emergency situation effectively.
