PTA Restores 85% of Afflicted Towers in Flood-Hit Areas of KP

Islamabad: Pakistan Telecommunication Authority has restored eighty five percent of afflicted towers within forty-eight hours in the flood-hit areas of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa including Swat, Buner, and Shangla. Over two hundred telecom sites were damaged due to recent heavy downpours and flash floods in these areas.

According to Radio Pakistan, the process of restoration of towers started with the joint efforts of Pakistan Telecommunication Authority, telecom operators, and local administration. This effective action done by PTA is being appreciated by the people of the affected areas.
