PM orders Balochistan Govt to address pressing concerns of farmers

Caretaker Prime Minister Anwaar-ul-Haq Kakar has directed the Balochistan Government to resolve the problems of electricity, irrigation and other issues being faced by the farmers of the province. Talking to a delegation of Farmers Action Committee of Balochistan in Quetta on Tuesday, he instructed the Chief Secretary Balochistan to ensure electricity supply to agricultural tube wells in Balochistan. He said welfare of farmers is one of the top priorities of the state. The delegation apprised the Prime Minister about the problems of the agriculture sector in Balochistan. It also informed about the issue of power load-shedding in the province.
