PM orders for checking illegal trawling in coastal areas

Caretaker Prime Minister Anwaar-ul-Haq Kakar has directed to evolve an effective strategy to check illegal trawling in the coastal areas.

He was chairing a meeting in Islamabad today regarding the construction of shipyards in Pakistan.

The meeting reviewed the prevailing situation for the construction of shipyards in the country. It was briefed that new shipyards can be constructed at Surbandar, East Bay, Kappar and Pishukhan areas of Balochistan.

The Prime Minister instructed to expedite the process of establishing more shipyards in the country. He further advised to take care of environment aspect in the construction of shipyards projects.
