PM Praises Aviation Division After UK Lifts Ban on Pakistani Flights

Islamabad: Defense Minister Khawaja Muhammad Asif called on Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif in Islamabad on Wednesday. The Prime Minister congratulated Khawaja Asif and also commended the efforts of the Aviation Division following the lifting of the United Kingdom’s ban on Pakistani flights.

According to Radio Pakistan, the Prime Minister appreciated the contributions of the Defence Minister and his team, describing the resumption of Pakistani flights to the UK as a highly significant milestone for the country. Shehbaz Sharif remarked that irresponsible statements made by leaders of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf in the past had led to flight restrictions and damaged the country’s reputation.

He added that the development would enhance travel facilities for Pakistanis residing in the UK and help boost tourism. In addition to these discussions, political and ministerial matters were also discussed during the meeting.
