Punjab Govt Devises Plan to Launch First-Ever Electric Taxi Service

Lahore: The Punjab government has devised a plan to launch the province’s first-ever electric taxi service. Chairing a meeting in Lahore, Provincial Minister for Transport Bilal Akbar Khan announced that the initiative will commence with the introduction of 1,100 electric vehicles.

According to Radio Pakistan, these electric vehicles will be provided on interest-free loan and easy installments as part of the e-taxi project. This move is part of an effort to modernize the transportation system in the province and promote environmentally friendly alternatives.
