PM Sharif Launches National Organ Donation Initiative

Islamabad: Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif has announced the commencement of a national drive to encourage organ donation, which he described as a crucial act of kindness that significantly extends life opportunities for recipients.

According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, speaking on International Identity Day, the Prime Minister revealed that registered organ donors will be recognized with a special logo on their National Identity Cards. He praised the spirit of organ donation as a profound gesture of generosity and called for collective efforts to foster a more inclusive society where the rights of every individual are acknowledged and safeguarded.

Sharif further reiterated the government’s commitment to enhancing transparency and accountability in its operations to cultivate trust among citizens and motivate increased participation in civic responsibilities.
