PM Shehbaz Arrives in Minsk on Official Visit to Belarus

Minsk: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has arrived in Minsk on a two-day official visit to Belarus. At Minsk International Airport, Prime Minister of Belarus Alexander Turchin, along with officials from the Pakistani Embassy in Belarus, welcomed Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif.

According to Radio Pakistan, the Prime Minister was honored with an age-old tradition and a gesture of Belarusian hospitality – the korovai, a decorated loaf accompanied by salt. In a post on social media platform X, Shehbaz Sharif expressed his anticipation for the official engagements, particularly with his friend President Alexander Lukashenko, as they aim to advance mutually beneficial cooperation between Pakistan and Belarus.

Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar, Minister for Information and Broadcasting Attaullah Tarar, and Special Assistant Tariq Fatemi are accompanying the Prime Minister.
