PM Shehbaz Embarks on Two-Day Official Visit to Uzbekistan

Tashkent: At the invitation of President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev, Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif is set to embark on a two-day official visit to Uzbekistan, starting Tuesday. The visit aims to strengthen bilateral ties between the two nations.

According to Radio Pakistan, the Prime Minister will be accompanied by a high-level delegation that includes Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar and other members of his cabinet. The agenda for the visit includes a bilateral meeting between Prime Minister Shehbaz and President Mirziyoyev, where they plan to discuss various areas of cooperation such as connectivity, economic collaboration, trade, investment, energy, defense, security, regional stability, and education. They will also exchange views on regional and international issues of mutual interest.

During the visit, a number of bilateral agreements and Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) are expected to be signed, further solidifying the partnership between Pakistan and Uzbekistan.

Additionally, Prime Minister Shehbaz will address the Pakistan-Uzbekistan Business Forum. This event will see participation from leading businessmen from both countries, who will engage in business-to-business meetings with the goal of enhancing bilateral trade.
