PM Shehbaz Sharif Advocates Global Water Agenda at Saudi Summit

Riyadh: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has concluded a two-day visit to Saudi Arabia, during which he addressed the One Water Summit and proposed a six-point agenda to tackle global water-related challenges. The visit also included meetings with Saudi and French leaders to discuss enhancing bilateral relations and cooperation in various sectors.

According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Prime Minister Sharif emphasized the climate change-related issues confronting developing nations at the summit. On the sidelines, he met with Saudi Prime Minister and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, where both leaders agreed on advancing the bilateral relationship and expressed satisfaction with the progress on existing agreements.

In a separate meeting with French President Emmanuel Macron, both leaders agreed to foster business collaboration in agriculture, livestock, information technology, vocational skills, and clean drinking water. The discussions highlighted the commitment of both countries to strengthen ties through shared initiatives.
