Islamabad: In a strategic move aimed at enhancing economic and business activities across Pakistan, Federal Minister for Communications, Privatization & Board of Investment Abdul Aleem Khan announced plans to develop key motorways through the Public Private Partnership (PPP) model. During a high-level meeting of the National Highway Authority (NHA), the minister underscored the vital role of the national road network in bolstering the country’s economy.

According to Press Information Department, the meeting, chaired by Minister Abdul Aleem Khan, focused on the evaluation of NHA’s performance and deliberated on current and future infrastructure projects. The minister highlighted the significance of the Hyderabad-Sukkur Motorway (M-6) and Karachi-Hyderabad Motorway (M-9) as potential projects under the PPP model.
