PM Shehbaz Sharif Embarks on Official Visit to Malaysia

Kuala lumpur: Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif has left for Kuala Lumpur on a three-day official visit to Malaysia. During his visit, the Prime Minister will meet the Malaysian Prime Minister while talks will also be held at the delegation level between the two countries.

According to Radio Pakistan, cooperation agreements and memorandums of understanding in various sectors will also be signed between the two countries. The two leaders will also look into expanding bilateral cooperation in trade, IT and telecom, halal industry, investment, education, energy, infrastructure, and digital economy. Discussions will be held on exploring new opportunities for cooperation to enhance people-to-people contacts.

Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar, Minister for Information and Broadcasting Attaullah Tarar, and Special Assistant to the Prime Minister Tariq Fatemi are accompanying the Prime Minister. The Prime Minister is visiting Malaysia at the invitation of Malaysian Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim.
