PM Shehbaz Sharif Initiates Centre of Excellence for Autism

Islamabad: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif performed the groundbreaking of the Centre of Excellence for Autism at the Rehabilitation Centre for Children with Development Disorders in Islamabad today. Addressing a ceremony on the occasion, the Prime Minister said this centre will be established in one year.

According to Radio Pakistan, the Prime Minister emphasized that it is the government’s responsibility to provide all possible resources to help children with special needs become self-sufficient. In this regard, he highlighted the importance of vocational and technical training, as well as the provision of the latest gadgets and technology to assist them.

He stated that it is a collective responsibility to support these children. To facilitate this, the Prime Minister announced the provision of fifteen coasters to the Rehabilitation Centre for the transportation of children with special needs.
