Islamabad: Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif has pledged to bolster Pakistan’s national HIV response, emphasizing the country’s commitment to the global fight against AIDS. In observance of World AIDS Day, the Prime Minister highlighted the importance of aligning with the United Nations Declaration on Human Rights and promoting inclusivity as vital measures in combating the public health threat posed by AIDS.

According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Prime Minister Sharif underscored healthcare as a fundamental right, advocating for collective and equitable efforts to uphold this right. Addressing the persistent growth of the HIV epidemic in Pakistan, he called for innovative and sustainable interventions to curb the spread of the disease.
