Government Adjusts Petroleum Prices Reflecting Global Trends

Islamabad: The government has announced revisions in the prices of petroleum products for the upcoming fortnight, implementing both increases and decreases across different categories.

According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, the price of petrol has increased by Rs. 3.72 per litre, setting the new price at Rs. 252.10. Similarly, high-speed diesel has seen an increase of Rs. 3.29 per litre, bringing its price to Rs. 258.43. Conversely, the prices of kerosene oil and light diesel oil have been reduced. Kerosene oil now costs Rs. 164.98 per litre after a reduction of Rs. 0.62, and light diesel oil has decreased by Rs. 0.48 per litre, priced now at Rs. 151.73.

These revised prices have taken effect from today, reflecting global trends in oil prices, as stated in the press release issued by the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting.
