PM Shehbaz Sharif Vows To Elevate Pakistan To Economic Powerhouse

Islamabad: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has pledged to build Pakistan into a strong economic power that would become the envy of the world, in the same spirit of unity and resolve which was demonstrated on May 28, 1998. In a post on social media platform X, he expressed gratitude as the nation celebrates ‘Youm-e-Takbeer’, acknowledging divine blessings and celebrating a historic victory following recent Indian aggression.

According to Radio Pakistan, Shehbaz Sharif highlighted the momentous decision made by Prime Minister Mian Nawaz Sharif twenty-seven years ago, when he pursued a peaceful nuclear test despite opposition from powerful countries, securing Pakistan’s status as a nuclear power. The Prime Minister also paid tribute to Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto for his leadership and honored the scientists and engineers who brought the nation’s vision to life.
