Islamabad: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has conveyed his condolences to the Malaysian government and people following severe flooding in the Southeast Asian nation. He stressed the historical ties between Pakistan and Malaysia and affirmed Pakistan’s commitment to support Malaysia during this challenging period.
According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, the Prime Minister expressed solidarity with his Malaysian counterpart, Prime Minister Dato’ Seri Anwar Ibrahim, underscoring the long-standing and close relationship between the two countries. He stated that Malaysia’s Prime Minister is a friend of Pakistan and assured that Pakistan would not abandon Malaysia during this crisis.
